Or I’d go into the event determined that I wasn’t going to touch any of the cheesy, sugary or otherwise “fattening” foods on display. But before long I’d decide to allow myself just one bite, which became another and another and another. More often than not, I’d end up in a full-blown binge.
I felt like such a weakling.
What I didn’t realize at the time was that everything I’d been trying to control my eating (and thus control my weight) was actually the exact opposite of what’s needed for my personal Holiday Eating Style.
Your Holiday Eating Style is your unique way of coming to the table. It’s a combination of the lifestyle factors, habits, emotional and environmental triggers that influence how you relate to food.
