The weekend, I mean.
Whether or not you celebrated Easter, did you nourish yourself the way you truly wanted?
The reason I ask is, when I was really struggling with food, the weekends were the hardest times, because there was much less to distract me from my seemingly insatiable appetite.
There was more free time, and that meant more space for my fixation on food – what I should or shouldn’t eat – to grow and grow until it swallowed me whole.
And if you added a holiday to the mix, especially a food-focused holiday like Easter (hello, chocolate bunnies and jellybeans), it made it that much harder.
I’d make promises to myself that I was only going eat “healthy,” or I’d only allow myself one bite of the “unhealthy” stuff. But inevitably that one bite – accompanied by a generous side of guilt – would turn into another and another, until I finally said “f*#% it” – I’ll just eat it all and start a cleanse tomorrow. (Which lasted about a half a day.)
And then came the shame. Why was I so out of control with food, and what did that say about me?
If you relate to this at all, first know that you’re not alone. I speak to countless women all the time who experience the same thing. And I also show them how to leave it behind – for good.
Last week I sent you a note that I’d opened up a few spots in my calendar to offer private Live & Eat Fearlessly Action Plan Sessions for women who are truly ready to reclaim their power with food.
There are only 2 spots left!
If you’re tired of wrangling with food on your weekends and holidays (or any day for that matter), let’s chat about how you can break free.
In this session I’ll listen intimately to your specific challenges, and you’ll come away with total clarity on why what you’ve tried in the past hasn’t worked. Plus I’ll give you personalized strategies and recommendations to start shifting into YOUR peaceful relationship with food, immediately.
This opportunity is right for you only if you’re ready to quit fighting food and your body and discover how to deeply nourish yourself from the inside out.
It’s right for you if you’re truly committed to creating a peaceful relationship with food and your body within the next 3 months, you’re tired of going it alone, and you are actively seeking support to make it happen.
If that’s you, I invite you to apply for one of these transformational sessions NOW, before they’re gone.
There’s so much more that’s possible for you and your life when you are finally free with food.
And the weekends… they’re like icing on the cake!
